Invoicing

Invoices go out in the company’s name, in the currency the customer pays, with a record the accountant can use. The money lands in the company account — not a personal wallet.

We set invoicing on the ledger we already opened (Xero, QuickBooks, or Wave), or on Stripe or PayPal when that merchant account is the company’s. The template shows the legal name, the company domain, and the payout details that match the banking page. A PDF from a personal Gmail with a personal bank account is not an invoice this desk will put in front of a provider. Stripe Invoicing is only available if Stripe has approved the company; it is not a way around a Pakistan merchant refusal.

How we work

From shortlist to a filed application

  1. 1

    Ledger or merchant account

Invoices follow the books or the payment account. We do not open a third tool for the sake of it.

  2. 2

    Template

Legal name, company domain, numbered invoices, payout details that match the bank.

  3. 3

    Record

Paid and unpaid invoices stay where the accountant can see them.

Invoices from the books

The invoice has to come from the company: legal name, company domain, company account details, and the currency the customer actually pays. A PDF from a personal email with a personal bank account is not the company’s invoice.

  • Xero invoices

    www.xero.com

Xero’s invoicing sits on the same ledger as the books. The customer sees the legal name, the invoice is numbered, and payment can point at the Wise or bank details that belong to the company. That is the file a UK accountant and a payment-provider review both understand.

We brief this on companies whose ledger is Xero.

    How we help

Once Xero is open, we set the invoice template to the legal name, the company domain, and the payout account. Unpaid invoices stay in the ledger. Xero decides the subscription.

  • QuickBooks invoices

    quickbooks.intuit.com

QuickBooks invoices are the usual US company invoice: legal name, EIN where it belongs, and a deposit account in the company’s name. They post to the same books that sit behind the tax file.

We brief this on companies whose ledger is QuickBooks.

    How we help

We set the template, the deposit account, and the numbering so the invoice and the ledger agree. Intuit decides.

  • Wave invoices

    www.waveapps.com

Wave invoices are enough when the company is small and the accountant will take an export. The sender still has to be the company, on the company domain, paying into the company account.

We brief this on companies whose ledger is Wave.

    How we help

We put the legal name and the payout details on the template and keep a record the accountant can use. Wave decides.

Invoices from the payment stack

Some companies invoice from the same provider that collects the money. That only works when that provider is already the merchant or the payout account. It is not a way around a missing company.

  • Stripe Invoicing

    www.stripe.com

Stripe Invoicing sends a hosted invoice that the customer pays on cards Stripe already holds for the company. It is available only if the company is a Stripe merchant. A Pakistan-registered company cannot use this. The invoice still has to show the legal name that Stripe underwrote.

We brief this on companies in a Stripe merchant country, after Stripe has approved the account. See Payment gateways.

    How we help

If Stripe is approved, we turn on invoicing, match the template to the legal name, and keep payouts on the company account. Stripe decides the merchant account first; invoicing follows.

  • PayPal invoicing

    www.paypal.com

PayPal Business can send invoices that the customer pays into the company’s PayPal account. A personal PayPal wallet in Pakistan is not this product. Country eligibility follows the same logic as PayPal Business on the payment-gateway page.

We brief this on companies that hold PayPal Business. See Payment gateways.

    How we help

If PayPal Business is open in the company’s name, we set invoicing on that account. PayPal decides.

Provider lists are indicative. We confirm current availability during consultation. Official websites open in a new tab; Brikseka is not those companies, and we do not guarantee their approval.

Frequently asked questions

Can I invoice from a personal PayPal?

Not as the company. PayPal invoicing is PayPal Business in the company’s name, where that account is available. A personal wallet is the file we are replacing.

Do I need Stripe to send an invoice?

No. Xero, QuickBooks, and Wave send invoices that the customer can pay by transfer into the company account. Stripe Invoicing is only if Stripe already holds the merchant account.

What currency should the invoice use?

The currency the customer pays, into an account the company can hold. That is usually the Wise or bank currency on the banking pages, not a personal local account.
