Multi-currency accounts

Hold and pay in USD, GBP, EUR and other currencies in the company’s name. This is the FX account — typically Wise Business or a payment institution — not a local high-street current account.

We brief Wise on most companies we form. Payoneer, Airwallex, Aspire, Statrys, Revolut Business, and Wio are the other multi-currency accounts on our country pages. A Pakistani exporter special foreign-currency account is a separate SBP product. None of these approvals are guaranteed.

How we work

From shortlist to a filed application

  1. 1

    Company first

The account follows the entity. We do not open a multi-currency wallet as a substitute for incorporation.

  2. 2

    Match

Wise on most files; Airwallex or Aspire on Hong Kong and Singapore; Wio on the UAE; ESFCA where a Pakistani exporter qualifies.

  3. 3

    Submit

We file in the company’s name. The provider decides.

Multi-currency accounts

These accounts hold and pay in USD, GBP, EUR and other currencies in the company’s name. They are the product we brief when the brief is FX, not a local high-street current account.

  • Wise Business

    www.wise.com

Wise is the multi-currency account we brief on most companies we form. Local receiving details in several currencies, payouts, and a debit card sit on the same account. It is not a deposit-insured bank.

We brief this on 35 countries we form in, including United Kingdom, United States, and Estonia.

    How we help

We open it in the company’s name after incorporation. Wise decides.

  • Payoneer receiving accounts hold USD, EUR, GBP and other currencies and pay out to a local bank or a Payoneer card. Used when Wise is not available, or as a parallel receiving path for exporters.

We brief this on 7 countries we form in, including United Kingdom, United States, and Estonia, and as a receiving account for Pakistani exporters.

    How we help

We prepare the receiving-account file for the company or for an eligible Pakistan export profile. Payoneer decides.

  • Airwallex is built around multi-currency wallets, FX, and payouts for Hong Kong, Singapore, and similar companies. Stronger than a single-currency high-street account for cross-border operations.

We brief this on Hong Kong and Singapore companies.

    How we help

We form the company in an Airwallex country and submit the KYC pack. Airwallex decides.

  • Aspire holds SGD and foreign currencies for Singapore Pte Ltd companies, with FX and payouts from the same account.

We brief this on Singapore companies.

    How we help

We form the Singapore company and prepare the Aspire file. Aspire decides.

  • Statrys is the multi-currency operating account we brief first on many Hong Kong companies, before Hang Seng or HSBC is realistic.

We brief this on Hong Kong and Singapore companies.

    How we help

We form the Hong Kong company and submit Statrys. Statrys decides.

  • Revolut Business

    www.revolut.com

Revolut Business holds multiple currencies and converts between them. Board residency rules still apply.

We brief this on Estonia companies.

    How we help

We confirm the board can apply and submit in the company’s name. Revolut decides.

  • Wio holds AED and other currencies on a UAE licensed company. It is the FX-capable digital bank we brief before a traditional UAE bank.

We brief this on United Arab Emirates companies.

    How we help

We form the free-zone company and submit Wio. Wio decides.

  • ES

    ESFCA

A Pakistani exporter special foreign-currency account holds eligible export proceeds in foreign currency at the company’s Pakistani bank. It is not Wise, and it is not available to every company.

We brief this on Pakistan companies where the exporter profile qualifies.

    How we help

We confirm SBP eligibility and instruct the Pakistani bank. The bank decides.

Provider lists are indicative. We confirm current availability during consultation. Official websites open in a new tab; Brikseka is not those companies, and we do not guarantee their approval.

Frequently asked questions

Is Wise a bank?

No. Wise Business is an electronic-money account. It holds multiple currencies and is the remote account we brief most often. It is not deposit-insured in the way a high-street bank is.

Can I open this without forming a company?

Not as the product we sell. The account is in the company’s name. If the brief is receiving as a Pakistani exporter, that is Payoneer or ESFCA — still KYC, still their decision.

What about a UK or EU current account in several currencies?

High-street multi-currency current accounts usually want presence. We brief Wise (or Airwallex, Aspire, Statrys, Wio) first, and a local bank through counsel only when the owners can show what that bank requires.
