Country overview
About Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia is a kingdom occupying most of the Arabian Peninsula. Riyadh is the capital and the largest city. About 36 million people live here. It borders Jordan, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Yemen, with coasts on the Red Sea and the Persian Gulf. Arabic is the official language. The currency is the riyal (SAR).
The country is the largest economy in the Gulf. Vision 2030 is the government’s programme to widen the economy beyond oil, and it has opened more sectors to foreign investment through the Ministry of Investment (MISA). Riyadh is the political and commercial centre. English is used in business, particularly in professional services. This is a substantial operating jurisdiction: licence, office and presence are part of a credible file.
Brikseka forms companies in Saudi Arabia. The usual path is a limited liability company with a MISA licence and commercial registration. A visit is required. Incorporation is not completed remotely. No local director is required for a standard LLC, but in-person steps are part of the licence, registration and banking sequence. Timeframes typically run from four to twelve weeks.
We then advise on a Saudi business bank account and on local acquiring, including Mada. Stripe is not available as a merchant account on a Saudi company. Banks typically require presence in the Kingdom, and an Iqama is often needed before an account will open. Approvals are decided by the providers. If your aim is to live in Saudi Arabia, company formation is not a residence permit — that is a separate immigration file, which we also advise on.

Corporate income tax is published at 20 percent for most foreign-owned companies. Zakat applies to the Saudi or GCC share of a mixed company. We confirm the live position before you proceed.
How we work
From briefing to a registered company
Briefing
We review your business, the right entity for this country, costs, and whether a visit is likely.
Company formation
Local counsel, notary where required, and the commercial register. We coordinate the documents through to a registered company.
Banking and payments
After the company exists, we prepare applications for a business account and payment gateways.
After incorporation
Statutory records, a named contact, and introductions to accounting so the company can operate.
